This is a "must have" for antenna installers.
You need to seal up connectors to prevent the ingress of water.
Otherwise water can get into the cable, get drawn along the braid by capillary action and wreck the cable.

Self Amalgamating Rubber Tape 10m roll x 19mm wide
You need this for all the outside cable connectors, and nuts and bolts where connections are made on the antenna itself, to weatherproof them, otherwise the installation may only last a few seasons.
You remove the backing tape, stretch it to about twice its length, wrap it tightly around the connector, then squeeze it tightly and the tape fuses together. When applied correctly it usually requires a box cutter knife to remove it. 10m will allow many connectors to be taped (approx 50 connectors assuming 200mm of tape per connector).
