True ground independent antenna showing 6dB gain for the 477 MHz frequency band. 

The design allows a high gain antenna to be mounted quickly on motor bikes where a SO239 jack has been fitted to the rear guard or similar. Screw on / screw off style.

Good for highway use when long range is required.
