MA890 4dBd gain (6.2dBi)

800mm white fibreglass antenna with chrome brass ferrule 1 inch thread. 

Radio Specialists supply these as a special kit with N connector fitted to the cable.

The antenna is mounted offset from the mast at the top of the mast, and down 2m from the top.

4dBd (6.2dBi) is an ideal antenna gain for marine use.

Too much antenna gain will direct the energy up into the air or down into the water as the boat pitches.

A sidemount is available in a complete kit soon from Radio Specialists which bolts to the mast.
