This is a truly global AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) system.

Radio networks and mobile phone networks have limited service area capability and are not on a par with this Inmarsat global satellite tracking network.

This service area is global. Mining companies, pipeline authorities, trucking companies, etc, contact us for a vehicle tracking solution to increase your efficiency.

The SAT-201 is the complete tracking unit. There are no additional hardware boxes, no GPS add-ons, no radio interconnects, no mobile phone interconnects.

Suitable for corporate users, including major trucking businesses, and private individuals this system allows those back home or in your office to obtain a position of your vehicle in real-time on their computer, for fleet management, and security. Position reporting can be set for automatic or polled. 

If you are traveling abroad, or into the outback,  you need to consider satellite tracking of your vehicle, for your own personal safety, and security of the vehicle itself and your luggage. Freight companies should consider their investment in prime movers and the security of the freight they carry. 

Using the global Inmarsat satellite network, the GPS co-ordinates from the tracker in the vehicle are transmitted to the Inmarsat satellite network, then back down to an internet server. 

You access that server with your computer on the internet and retrieve the position of the vehicle, and display it on maps on your computer...globally !

WHAT YOU NEED

The Satellite Tracker hardware shown here, which is mounted in your vehicle. It contains a GPS receiver to acquire your position co-ordinates which are then forwarded through the satellite modem to the Inmarsat network, and then on to the satellite ground station server, for you to access by your internet computer.

Central Station street mapping software to load onto your computer which is supplied in the price. This will give you Australian positions.

For international destinations and tracking you will need a selection of mapping for the countries you intend to travel through, or population points for individual countries, or groups of countries, or global.

A computer connected to the internet, and preferably a broadband internet service provider (not supplied).
